The stereotypical trumpet player is a stuck-up man with an, "I'm better than you" attitude and thinks that they can play louder, faster, higher, and better than anyone else. Being a heavily "type B" person, I don't fit the stereotype of a trumpet player. Another, perhaps more important way I go against the "trumpeting grain" is that I'm a girl. This is just random thoughts about what it's like to be the gender minority in the "back row."
